Can you believe it… We are over halfway through the year, and what an adventure we’ve had so far. Now that we’re well into the summer and many are enjoying their holidays, it’s a great time to reflect on how far we have come.
EASA Differences Course for CAT B Licences
We launched our Part-66 UKCAA to EASA Differences course, designed to bridge the knowledge requirements between the UKCAA and EASA for Part-66 CAT B1 and B2 licences.
Due to EASA regulation changes in June 2024, all EASA modules require students to study additional sub-modules/content compared to the UKCAA syllabus. These additional sub-modules/content often cover a range of technical knowledge, operational procedures, and compliance standards that align with EASA’s approach to aviation safety and regulations.
Our newly created bundle offers a more cost-effective way to achieve your EASA licence alongside your UKCAA licence – there’s no need to purchase the full EASA B1 or B2 bundle.
Opened a New Exam Site
In June, we began offering Part 66 Self-Study exam sessions at our Humberside Aircraft Maintenance facility. This new option supports the continued growth of our Part 66 Self-Study product and provides greater convenience for students pursuing UKCAA and EASA A1, A3, B1.1, B1.3, and B2 licences – reducing the need for long travel times to take their exams.
The Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding
We officially signed an exclusive memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Highlands and Islands (UHI).
This partnership aims to create innovative new pathways in Aviation Maintenance Basic Training and Higher Education programmes at UHI Perth. It also supports students currently enrolled in UHI programmes, helping them successfully complete their studies.
By combining Resource Group’s industry-leading Part-147 training expertise with UHI’s strong reputation in higher education, we’re building a long-term platform for growth, innovation, and opportunity. Together, we’re committed to shaping the future of aviation maintenance training and providing world-class learning experiences for the next generation of professionals.
With the continuous growth of our exam locations, the old-style exam booking process didn’t quite fit anymore. Therefore, we designed a new exam booking page on our website to ensure the entire booking process is quicker and more convenient for students to secure their exam slots.
With a user-friendly interface, users can simply select their required exam location by clicking on the individual thumbnails and view real-time availability.
As we look back on the past six months, it’s clear that each milestone has been a building block toward something greater. From small wins to major breakthroughs, every step has shaped the momentum we carry forward. While we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished, we’re even more excited about what lies ahead.
