OTHER PRACTICAL SKILLS COURSES
We offer specialised practical skills courses to supplement Part-66 training and refine existing hand skills used during aviation maintenance. Our facilities include a simulated Part-145 hangar environment, training aircraft, avionics, composite and sheet metal workshops as well as a variety of other training aids for on-aircraft practical training. Specific elements of each course can be customised by our in-house training development team, allowing us to provide bespoke training to meet specific client requirements.
UNLICENSED MECHANIC COURSE
Our Unlicensed Mechanic Training course has been designed to provide individuals with the basic level of knowledge required for them to operate in a flight line environment safely. The emphasis of the training is on Flight Safety, Flight Line Operation, Basic System Knowledge and Basic Practical and Skills. The course can be nuanced for individual client requirements based on the background and requirements of the individuals attending.
ELECTRICAL HAND SKILLS
Our Electrical Hand Skills course is a 1- day practical delivery focusing on the elements outlined in EWIS Module G (Connective Device Repair) as set out in AMC 20-22, Annex III to ED Decision 2008/007/R of 29/08/2008 and FAA AC. 120-94. The training will focus on the repair and replacement of the different types of connective devices found on an aircraft including circular connectors, rectangular connectors, terminal blocks – modular, terminal blocks – non modular and grounding modules.
ELECTRICAL WIRING INTERCONNECTION SYSTEM
Our Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) course is a 5-day practical delivery that will provide organisations with acceptable means of compliance to fulfil their training obligations as required in paragraphs 21.A.145 and 21.A.245 of Part-21, 145.A.30 and 145.A.35 of Part-145 and M.A.706 of Part-M with respect to EWIS.
AIRCRAFT STRUCTURAL HAND SKILLS
This course will provide participants with the basic skills and knowledge to manufacture and assemble aircraft structural repair components in accordance with engineering worksheets and drawings contained in structural repair manuals (SRM’s). This course can be used towards CAA requirements for practical experience.
