Do you feel the courseware matches your preferred learning style (visuals, text, practice questions)?
Yes, the pictures and animations/videos helped my understanding. I’m able to spend as much time as I need learning a topic that suits me, whereas in a classroom environment, you need to keep up with the pace. This meant if I wasn’t sure on a certain topic, I could focus more on that specific part to ensure I was ready for the exam.
How did you find studying in your own time and pace?
I found it beneficial to study at my own pace and in my own time. It meant I didn’t have to take time off work, and I could study wherever I happened to be – whether at my workplace or at home.
What advice would you give to others looking to purchase our Part 66 Self-Study courses or those currently studying them?
Go for it. I started self-studying, thinking I’d need to purchase Instructor-Led courses for some modules, but I’ve managed to pass every B1 module first time by taking the self-study courses alone. This shows the courseware is great, providing you put the effort in to revise. I would recommend using the Resource Group self-study method to gain the modules you need.
