The Part 66 instructor-led modules include the cost of the examination if the exam is taken at our Cotswold Airport facility. If you wish to take your examination at one of our other locations, this will incur a charge of between £65 – £95 (+ VAT) per exam, depending on the exam location.
You’re required to wait 90 days before you can re-sit a Part 66 modular exam. Should you fail a modular exam 3 times, you will have to wait 12 months before your next attempt.
Any Part 66 Instructor-Led courses purchased from the 1st August 2024 will not include a free examination resit. Therefore, if you fail your first exam and require a resit, you will need to book a new exam date at one of our regional exam hubs. This exam will be charged at the standard rate.
You will only be required to re-sit the essay writing part of the module.
Each module comes with dedicated examination dates which can be found on the module calendars. These exams take place at our Cotswold Airport facility. If you are unable to make the set date, you will be able to sit your exam during one of our open exam sessions instead. Visit the following link for a list of open exam dates.
Following the EASA Part-66 regulation change: commission implementing regulation (eu) 2023/989 which took effect on 12th June 2024, UKCAA and EASA Part 147 training organisations will no longer be able to dual certify, with the exception of Part 66 Modules 1 (Mathematics) and 17 (Propellers), as these modules are unaffected by the EASA regulation changes.
Therefore, our Part 66 Instructor-Led courses will be aligned to the UK CAA Part-66 regulations only. If you wish to receive an EASA Certificate of Recognition, you will need to purchase our Part 66 Self-Study product and book an EASA examination on one of our open examination sessions.
