Theoretical and Enhanced Practical Training
The CAT B Programme is split into a number of delivery blocks to meet the requirements of the Standard. These consist of:
- Theoretical delivery including examinations
- Practical delivery which may include Advanced Composites training, Engine Borescoping and enhanced EWIS hand skills.
The theoretical training can be delivered at Resource Group’s facilities, at your site, or at other locations which will need to be discussed and agreed.
The enhanced practical training stage is carried out at either our Humberside International Airport or Kemble Airport facilities, as both sites have the required Advanced Composites and other practical training facilities.
Each block is separated by a work placement so the apprentice can continue with their apprenticeship and completion of their Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Logbook (CAP 741) in your Part 145 environment.
