Human Factors Initial (Excluding Safety)

This mandatory course covers the aviation maintenance human factors training requirements (excluding Safety Management), providing students with the information to manage and reduce human error and human factors risks.

This is to be completed by students who already hold a current Safety Management certificate. If you have not taken a Safety Management course separately, you will require our Safety Training plus Human Factors course, as per the requirement of 145.a.30(e).

Who is this course aimed at? If you are in a UKCAA or EASA Part 145 engineering organisation and already hold a current Safety Management certificate.

It looks at what human factors are, how they affect our performance and influence our actions, and how to recognise and correct Human Factors risks in aviation.
